  • Stop blood thinners

What to expect:

  • Sedation given
  • Scope passed to duodenum
  • Contrast injected, stents or stone removal done

Risks:

  • Pancreatitis (5–10%)
  • Bleeding, infection

Follow-up:

  • Monitor for pain or fever
  • Stent removal if placed
