Why Do I Need Management?
- Fundic-gland polyps: usually benign; monitor size.
- Hyperplastic polyps >1 cm or with dysplasia: remove to rule out cancer.
How Should I Prepare?
- Fasting 6 hours before endoscopy.
- Stop PPIs 2 weeks prior if safe.
What Happens During Management?
- Biopsy/Polypectomy: Endoscopic removal of polyps using forceps or snare.
What Can I Expect Afterwards?
- Recovery for 30–60 minutes
- Resume diet per advice

- Bleeding (<1%)
- Rare perforation (<0.1%)
Follow-Up
- Fundic-gland polyps: repeat endoscopy in 3–5 years.
- Hyperplastic polyps: follow-up in 12 months if removed.
