How Should I Prepare?
- Imaging: Ultrasound, CT/MRI; concurrent liver markers.
- Lab Tests: LFTs, tumor markers (CA 19-9).
What Happens During Treatment?
- Extended Cholecystectomy: Removal of gallbladder, liver wedge, and lymphadenectomy.
- Adjuvant Therapy: Chemotherapy for advanced disease.
What Can I Expect Afterwards?
- Hospital stay 5–7 days.
- Gradual diet progression.
Risks & Possible Complications
- Bile leak (5–10%)
