What Is Gallbladder Cancer?

  • Lab Tests: LFTs, tumor markers (CA 19-9).

  • Extended Cholecystectomy: Removal of gallbladder, liver wedge, and lymphadenectomy.
  • Adjuvant Therapy: Chemotherapy for advanced disease.

  • Hospital stay 5–7 days.

Risks & Possible Complications

  • Bile leak (5–10%)
