There are many people who love to serve humanity, among them, one is Dr. Ajeet Kumar Lohana, who is Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Lohana is holding free medical camp at AK Lohana Clinic every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm to check and treat patients of Hepatitis A, B, C and other fatal diseases.
Dr. Lohana said about 10 to 12 million of Pakistan’s populace is suffering from hepatitis B and C and added that the majority of the patients even don’t know that they are suffering from hepatitis.
Dr. Lohana said due to the economic meltdown and people unable to meet their basic needs, he has organised this free camp and which will last for 4 to 6 weeks to treat and diagnose the patients with the deadliest disease.
He said after initial tests, if a PCR test is needed, which is expensive, will be done at 30 to 50pc discount. He said a cheaper treatment programme will be offered to the patient up, while, it will be provided free of cost if one cannot afford it.
Dr. Lohana said that patients with chronic diarrhea, and sudden weight loss will also be checked free of cost in the medical camp.
A female patient said Dr. Ajeet Kumar conducted her tests for hepatitis B and C, free of cost. She recommended Dr. AK Lohana as he treated her in an expert manner and provided her with medicines.
