Prof. Dr. Arit Parkash is a distinguished Pediatric Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Nutritionist Specialist with over 19 years of clinical and academic experience. He graduated from Chandka Medical College, Liaquat University of Health Sciences, Jamshoro, and completed his residency at National Institute of Child Health (NICH), Karachi, earning his FCPS in Pediatrics in 2011. He further specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at the University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, completing a second FCPS in 2015.

Currently, he serves as Professor of Pediatrics and Head of the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at NICH / Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi, where he also supervises postgraduate training programs (FCPS & MCPS) recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He has played a pivotal role in establishing the Pediatric Gastroenterology Department and the endoscopy unit at NICH, enabling advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Prof. Dr. Arit Parkash is also actively involved in research, medical teaching, and ethical review processes, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in national and international conferences.
